Greg Foster - 14U Boys

Greg Foster

Coach Foster has over 25 years of coaching experience at the elementary, middle school and high school level.  Coach Foster has been the Head Varsity Boys' Basketball coach at Egan, SD (1989-91), Gettysburg, SD (1993-96) and Rugby, ND (1998-2005) along with having been the Assistant HS Boys Coach at DeSmet, SD (1991-92), Plankinton, SD (1992-93) and Rugby, ND (1996-97).  Also, Coach Foster was the Rugby JH Boys Basketball Coach (2010-14).

Player skill development has always been a passion of Foster’s and his main focus over the past seven plus years; first as the Director and Founder of Foster Basketball Instruction (2011-13) and for the past four years as the North Dakota Director of Warwick Workouts (2014-present), one of the premier offensive skill development programs in the Midwest.

Coach Foster has spent the last six plus years coaching the North Dakota Cougars Traveling Basketball teams.  The North Dakota Cougars have competed in tournaments throughout North Dakota and the surrounding states.

Allen Olsen 17U Green Boy

Coach Olsen is currently the Boys Assistant Basketball Coach at the Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier schools. He helped guide the Rebels to a Region semi-final berth during the 2022-23 season.

Coach Schmidt is currently the Boys Assistant coach for the South Border Mustangs. He has over 25 years of coaching experience. Coach Schmidt has coached at various age levels for both boys and girls.

Randy Cranston

Randy Cranston is a  graduate of Hatton High School (1998), University of Mary (2002), and University of Phoenix (2006). Randy is currently the Dean of Students for Dickinson High School.  Prior to that he was the High School Principal at Watford City High School for 4 years. He was previously the Assistant Principal at Watford City High School for 5 years and the Activities Director for the Watford City School District for 10 years. In 2011-12 Randy was awarded the NDIAAA District 15 and Region 8 Athletic Administrator of the Year. In 2012-2013 he was again awarded the District 15 Athletic Administrator of the Year.

 

Randy coached boys basketball for 14 years where his team earned him 200+ wins, along with multiple District 15 and Region 8 Coach of the year awards. Randy was named the NDHSCA Basketball State coach of the year in 2007-08. Randy has also coached football, boys golf, Babe Ruth and Legion baseball.  While coaching basketball Randy was a member of the NDHSCA Boys Basketball Advisory Committee for 6 years. Randy is currently involved in the North Dakota DPI Secondary Principals Advisory Cabinet and NDCEL Legislative Assembly. As a lifelong resident of North Dakota, Randy has been actively involved with North Dakota activities since he can remember. Randy has three boys Britton, Boston and Beckett.

Mike Crockett 13U Green Boys

Mike Crockett is originally from Langdon and graduated in 1992. Mike attended both UND & the University of Mary where he received his Master's of Physical Therapy in 1998. Mike currently lives in Fargo where he owns his own practice where he takes a special interest in helping people of all ages, with a special interest in sports injuries. 

Mike has been involved in coaching numerous boys and girls travel teams over the past 10 years, with summers spent coaching AAU. Mike is currently the elementary basketball coach for Northern Cass where his kids attend school. Mike and his wife Jodi have four children: Jase 19, Halle 17, Haidyn 15, and Brooks 12. In his spare time, Mike enjoys family time, hunting, and attending all of his kids' sporting activities.

Coach Bob Beaudrie has been coaching basketball at some level for over 20 years. From 1998-2000 Coach Beaudrie coached the JH boys and girls Basketball teams at Drake-Anamoose and assisted with the Varsity programs. From 2000-2002 Coach Beaudrie was the Head Coach for the Drake-Anamoose boys basketball team. From 2002-2016, he was the head coach of the Westhope-Newburg Sioux Boys Basketball teams. Since 2018, Coach Beaudrie has been the Head Girls Basketball coach at Westhope-Newburg. He has also coached the W-N Grade school boys team for the last 14 years.

 

Coach Beaudrie’s teams have had one state appearance in 2003 placing 4th in Class B. His teams also have made the region championship game twice in his coaching career in 2003 and 2013.  They have one District 11 championship in 2007. His teams have amassed over 200 victories in his coaching tenure. Coach Beaudrie was named District 11 and Region 6 Coach of the year in the 2006-07 season for the boys, and was named District 11 and Region 6 Coach of the year for the girls for the 2021-22 season.

 

Coach Beaudrie is a Cavalier, ND native. He and his wife Keari are the parents of 5 boys; Rocklin,  Colt,  Kasen,  Pierce and Hayes.

Bryce Laxdal

Bryce Laxdal is currently in his 13th year of coaching, fourth as the Head Boys' Coach at Northern Cass.  He has a career coaching record of over 100 wins including 47 at Northern Cass, including 3 trips to the State Tournament.  He has been name District 4 COY (2013 and 2014) as well as Region 2 COY (2014).

 

Bryce grew up and attended High School in Edinburg, ND graduating in 2004.   After graduation he attended Mayville State earning degrees in Elementary Education, Physical Education and a coaching minor in 2009.  Bryce played basketball for the Comets, who advanced to 3 NAIA National Tournaments including the 2007 National Championship, under current Utah Head Coach, Craig Smith.

 

Bryce currently lives in Fargo, North Dakota.  He teaches and coaches at Northern Cass Public School.  His hobbies include reading, hunting, listening to podcast and traveling.

Travis Moser

Coach Travis Moser is in his first year coaching AAU Basketball. He took this opportunity to help coach his son Landon.

Travis grew up and graduated from Edgeley ND in 1998.  After high school Travis went to NDSCS in Wahpeton where he received an Associates Degree in Electrical Technology.  Travis worked in the Fargo area as a Journeyman Electrician before he went to the Police Academy in 2003.

Travis was hired early 2004 by the Fargo Police Department. He currently serves as a Sergeant with Fargo PD and as a Team Leader on the Red River Valley SWAT team.

Travis married his wife April and their children Landon and Sienna both attend Northern Cass High School.
